The fireworks started early. In fact you know you’re in for a long day when the opening kickoff is returned for a touchdown. #23 Wade “Sweetness” Plemons fielded the kick on the 40 yard line, and in the blink of an eye, he was gone! A 60 yard touchdown! #66 Hayden “The Duck” Cash kicked off, but to add insult to injury, the ‘Stangs hustled down and covered the loose ball! #22 Nick Brown made the recovery, to put the game in control of the potent Mustang offense. A 20 yard pass to #31 Noah Maples, and a 15 yard reception by #7 Eric Newman moved the chains. All it took from there was power running from #39 Caleb Russell, #30 Trey Townson, and #22 Nick Brown to put the ball on the four yard line. Russell got the nod for the touchdown. The scoreboard read 16 to nothing at the conclusion of the first period.

Quarterback Plemons was pass happy in the second stanza, he connected with #31 Noah Maples on a reception of 25 yards; and Caleb Russell #39 caught an 8 yarder for a touchdown. #30 Trey “The Train” Townson found pay dirt from the two yard line. At the intermission, Loudon has a commanding lead of 32 to zip. For the final score of the day, Maples got loose for a 39 yard streak. In their third three quarter victory (out of four games), the Mustangs post a big win, 38-0. Your Mustangs tallied 29 rushes for 189 yards, five touchdowns, and four 2-pt. conversions. Quarterback, #23 Wade “Sweetness” Plemons passed for 68 yards and one touchdown.
