The #1 seed Loudon Indians (10-1) have been ranked No.1 all season, earning them the right of home field advantage. The #4 seed Riceville Wildcats (7-4) got off the bus for a 1:00pm meeting with destiny at “Bruce Wilkerson Field” on “The Hill”. At Riceville in week #5 of the regular season, the Wildcats came close before falling 14-6. But on this day the Loudon Indians had their “A-Game” on.

After the kick off, the Loudon Indians needed only one play to score. The Wildcats were in for a long day at the office. #30 Tyler Barr took off on a pitch sweep for a 78 yard touchdown! Barr and #45 Jordan Purdy added both added points in the second stanza as well. Purdy was good from 62 yards, and Barr posted a nine yarder.

The half time score was 22-0, your Loudon Indians.

Tyler Barr was not finished with the Riceville end zone though, he vaulted the final five yards climaxing a 46 yard gold rush. #33 Tommy Brown wanted in on the act, he scored a 10 yard touchdown with 0:11 seconds left in the third period.

For Riceville #22 D. Ellison scored the Wildcat touchdown, he was a formidable back that lacked a supporting cast. Rushing was for 272 yards on 27 attempts for five touchdowns and two 2-point conversions. Quarterback, #4 Zach Franklin passed for 7 yards on one completion to #30 Tyler Barr and #33 Tommy Brown threw a half-back pass to #67 Bryan Green for 30 yards. Total offense was 309 yards.

The Back MVP was awarded to #30 Tyler Barr, while the Lineman MVP was presented to #54 Eric Lawson.

The #1 Loudon Indians (11-1) earn a shot at the title, and will play the Greenback Tornados (10-2) at Vonore this Saturday at 7:00pm.
