The Indians scored four touchdowns in the first quarter. On the opening kick off, #43 Aaron Lawson scooped and scored from the 21 yard line. #45 Jordan Purdy added the conversion points.

Lenoir City covered the kick off on the 11 yard line, but on the third play #43 Aaron Lawson recovers his second fumble. Loudon scores from the 12 yard line. #34 David Lee “The Dozer” Haskins gets the call for the touchdown, and #44 Caleb Giles added the 2-point conversion.

The Panthers got started on the 19 yard line. Three plays later they had been thrown back to the 10. Taking a big gamble, the L.C. coach elected to go for it on fourth and 29 from their own 10 yard. The pass attempt was broken up by Jordan Purdy. One play was all it took, #22 Isaac Peters scored from the 10 yard line. In kick formation, #48 Alex Lennox splits the uprights.

The onsides kick off is recovered on the 42 yard line by a hustling #79 Jordan McCallie. Under center is #33 Tommy Brown, he flings a pass down field to Purdy, who motors 25 yards for a touchdown.

The lone score in the second period was a half back pass by “The Dozer” to tackle eligible #67 Bryan “The Brain” Green covering 44 yards. #43 Aaron Lawson added the 2-point conversion.

Three touchdowns in the third and final stanza completed the damage. QB #4 Zachary Franklin hooked up with #81 Ryan Brennan for a 50 yard pitch and catch. #10 Kyle Roberts runs away from everyone on a 65 yard burn. It was rumored that Roberts was using an oxygen mask on the side line after that long run. #37 Devan Grissom bolted to pay dirt from the 14 yard line. #41 Andrew “Little Russell” Russell tallied the last points of the day on the points after.

Top defenders were: #16 Nick Roach with six tackles and #50 Andrew Scott added four take downs.

Rushing was for 152 yards on 13 attempts for nine touchdowns and four 2-point conversions. Quarterback, #4 Zach Franklin passed for 50 yards on one completion and one touchdown to #81 Ryan Brennan. #33 Tommy Brown completed a pass to #45 Jordan Purdy for 25 yards and a touchdown. #34 David Lee “The Dozer” Haskins threw a half back pass to #67 Bryan Green for 44 yards and a touchdown. Total offense was 271 yards.

The Loudon Indians (10-1) earn the #1 seed and will play the #4 seed Riceville Juniors (7-4) on “The Hill” at approximately 1:00 pm this Saturday.
