The 'Stangs set the tone of the game early, scoring 16 points in the first period. #59 Keith “Golden-Toe” Hensley kicked an on-sides kick that was recovered by Loudon and converted into eight points. #3 Jake Brown drew first blood on a 26 yard scamper, with #10 Nick Brown adding the extra points. Quarterback #4 Zack Franklin threw a 16 yard touchdown pass to #23 Cody "The Eagle" Choate, #27 Wade Plemons tacked on the conversion.

A 16 point second stanza vaulted the Mustangs ahead to stay. #10 Nick Brown bullied in from the one yard line and added the 2-pt. conversion himself. Quarterback #4 Zack Franklin was back to pass and threw a screen pass to #27 Wade Plemons. Plemons outran everyone in route to a 97 yard touchdown! Folks, I believe that is a Loudon Quarterback Club record for the longest touchdown pass play! #4 Zack Franklin snuck in for the extra points. At the half, the Mustangs lead 32-0.

The third quarter yielded two defensive scores. #10 Nick Brown intercepted a L.C. pass and returned it 70 yards for a touchdown, #27 Wade Plemons posted the 2-pt. conversion. #57 Cody Crass picked up a L.C. fumble and rambled 40 yards for the last score of the day. #39 Jeffery Nichols was on the receiving end of a #4 Franklin pass for the 2-pt. conversion. Offense included: 23 carries for 167 yards, (2) TD's, and (6) 2-pt. conversions; three pass receptions for 116 yards, (2) TD's, and (1) 2-pt. conversion. In three quarters, the Loudon Mustangs (8-1) win 48-0.
