The Loudon Mustangs played another tight defensive game. The score was knotted 0 to 0 at the end of regulation. The Mustangs got 4 plays from the 10-yd line but couldn’t score. Now it was Riceville’s turn. The Loudon defense held the Wildcats for 3 plays. It all came down to one play, 4th down from the 4-yd line. A very determined run by the Riceville running back earned them the 6-0 overtime victory.
