Loudon Quarterback Club Homecoming 2002

“Homecoming on the Hill” and Vonore Comes a Callin' (Pictures at bottom)

The Loudon Quarterback Club started the pre-game festivities with a homecoming parade that culminated in the crowning of the 2002 Kings and Queens. The “Crowned” winners are as follows:

Crickets Hoppers Mustangs Indians

Queens: Jamie Russell, Jara Gasper, Jessica Lister, Nikki Steil

Kings: Michael Engle, Timmy Dotson, Zack Franklin, Daniel Hampton

Prior to the opening kickoff, the Rev. Bruce Gaylon of the Loudon United Methodist Church offered the invocation. Mrs. Beth Brakebill sang the National Anthem. The colors were presented by the Loudon High School Navy Junior ROTC Color Gaurd. The Navy Junior ROTC colors were carried by Cadet/Petty Officer First John Huecker. The Tennessee colors were carried by Cate/Seaman Recruit Joel Hurst. The National Colors were carried by Cadet/Lieutenant Junior Grade Lori Sherman. The rifle gaurds are Cadet/Senior Chief Petty Officer Justin Burnette and Cadet/Seaman Recruit Brandon Temple. The Navy Junior ROTC Color Gaurd is under the direction of Commander Scott Goodson.

The final activity was a Homecoming Dance held at the LHS front hall, professional DJ "Low Riding Lance" was spinning the tunes.
