Quarterback Club 2002 9-11 Rememberance Service

A short but meaningful 9-11 remembrance ceremony followed the hoppers game. The invocation was offered by the Rev. Michael Smith of the Loudon First Baptist Church. Next a color guard consisting of over 25 members of the Loudon and Philadelphia police, fire, and emergency medical personnel led by Ricky Sutton and Terri Waddell, marched the 100 yard length of the football field. Each step represented a fallen American of the Terrorist attacks. Miss Jessica Plemons sang the National Anthem as our flag was proudly raised by the color guard. The stadium was quiet as we remembered what it meant to be an American, in America, one nation under God. Amen.
