Game 3 against TELLICO

     Week 3 of the Sequoyah Conference football season finds your Loudon Quarterback Club hosting the Tellico Bears! It was a big day on “The Hill”; our first sweep!

 

CRICKETS

 

     The Loudon Captains were #18 Noah Arnold, #20 Ethan Collis, and #30 Dustin Register. Loudon won the toss and deferred until the second half.

 

     It was the battle for the first victory of the season? The Tellico Crickets (0-2) and the Loudon Crickets (0-2) were an even bet on paper, but someone was leaving here with their first win of the season!!! And it was us…as your own Red Chirpers scored in every quarter and amassed 270 yards on the ground! The Crickets were much improved this week!

     The potent Mustangs rebound from last week’s loss, execute a balanced offensive performance, and roll against the Bears. Rushing accounted for 216 yards on 13 carries for three touchdowns and one 2-point conversion; while passing added 150 yards for two touchdowns and two 2-point conversions. INDIANS

 

     Out for the coin toss were Captains #31 Jefferson McQueen, #36 Ryan McNabb, #47 Marshall Lynn, and #52 James Mendez. The Indians won the coin toss and wanted to put their offense on the field. Your home standing Loudon Indians were leading by a score of 14-0 at half time. Several near by lightning strikes resulted in a powwow by the Head Coaches from both sides and the Referees; which resulted in a decision to call the game at the half (complete game).
